Program "The End of the Epoch" concerns itself with looking back at the 30's through the 50's from the context of our life. In the future plans of the program are the comparison,attempted comprehension and synthesis of the imperial cultures in the USSR, USA, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Spain,...etc. based on the combination of the traditions of the Russiaan Avant-Guard and contemporary thinking.

To this aim was created the conceptual structure called
"The Cherkashin Metropolitan Museum", named after Moscow's subway - that is the Moscow Metropolitan - as it is in style, symbolism and mysticism, the most significant and expressive architectural complex of Soviet time.
